Wayne started his career with Royal Mail at the age of 17 and served nearly 30 years there. He worked his way to Delivery Office Manager around the age of 24 and has worked in most of the delivery offices around the South/South West Wales area. He managed budgets of up to £1 million and had sole responsibility for the staff, fleet management, deliveries, facilities, planning, HR and Customer Relations on a daily basis. The Customer was central to his management style and deliveries had to be made on time. In the larger units, he was managing up to 130 staff.
At the same time, Wayne also started a career as a Rugby Union Referee with the Welsh Rugby Union. He has worked his way up from the grass roots side of the game to acting as a Match Official at International Matches in Wales and England. His last international game was the England v Samoa game in November 2017. He is still involved in Pro 14, Europe, and Premiership Rugby and refereeing still continues to be his passion. He feels lucky to have travelled the world doing something he loves.
Wayne’s primary focus within Eezee Logistics is the operational side of the business. His constant focus is always the customer and making sure their delivery arrives on time, in the same condition we received it and they are happy.
